In 2007 the CIA began working with Kent County Council on developing an arts commissioning strategy for Dover Priory Station. This was part of a larger Public Realm Strategy, which identified public art as the driving force for nine key sites in the regeneration of Dover, the first of these being the frontage of Dover Priory Station.

The CIA commissioned and worked with artist Jacqueline Poncelet to produce concept designs for ambitious, engaging integrated artwork for the new building and landscaping as well as freestanding sculptures. Unfortunately the project has been discontinued due to lack of funds.
