The London Borough of Camden and the Kentish Town Health Centre commissioned the Creative Intelligence Agency to fundraise for and curate an ambitious art programme linked to local Camden arts organisations. The CIA wrote a successful grant bid, awarded by ACE, to fund the programme, which was to include a permanent commission, temporary exhibitions and an artist in residence. The commissions were to be situated in the landmark building by Stirling prize shortlisted architects, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, which incorporates many innovative design features. The Kentish Town Health Centre was launched in March 2009 and has been heralded as a flagship for a new generation of healthcare building; however, the art commissioning programme has been put on hold.
